...and in all the stories, some hero rides up on some big white horse, in shiny armour, coming out of the Light to do battle with the Dark, enters the Labyrinth, fights the inhabitants, avoids the traps, finds magical things, conquers the center and rides out victorious.

It's a lie, folks. The hero doesn't always win. The hero doesn't always deserve to win. I'm tired of the damn hero.

What I want to know about are the ones already in the Labyrinth. The interesting ones. Not necessarily good or evil--just the ones who want something more than the ordinary world and the usual hero.
