Authors' Alcove

 Join Our Authors' Alcove!

A new thing at this event is that we're planning on creating what we call an "Authors' Alcove" on one of the floors of the hotel.

We're bringing together authors from a wide variety of genres that appeal to the wide-variety of cultures we're trying to bring together at this event: Horror, Romance, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Yaoi, Erotica, Gaming Guides, and Spell Books are only a few examples of the many genres of work we think would be a great fit for our event!

Some things planned are read-alouds, book discussions, signings, and book sales.

...If you're planning on attending our event and have a favorite book/story that you'd like to share (even if you're not the author!) bring it along. We'll have read-alouds for a variety of genres and you'll be welcome to share as well!

How Do I Join?

Basically, the way it works is you can join our Authors Alcove and have the opportunity to share your work, meet fans, and more for a fee of $50, plus the cost of your hotel room. We'll also give your work/webpage a hyperlink on our website and you'll get a listing on the Big Board at our event and up to THREE free tickets to the event (already a $45 value!). And your hotel room is yours to sleep-in or party-in all night after the event!

OR

And if you would like to sell copies of your book(s) at the event, from a room in the Alcove, then it'd be $100, plus the cost of your hotel room. And, in addition to the right to sell stuff, the opportunity to share your work, meet fans, and more... You'll get a comic or a graphical banner with your comic's logo on our website, a listing on the Big Board at the event, and upto SIX free tickets to the event (a $90 value!). Your hotel room is yours to sleep-in or party-in all night after the event!
