Atmosfear: Dance Macabre
Welcome to the Other Side! What is the Other Side you say? Simply put, it is a realm of the dead. Being dead is only the first thing that is different about what it means to be you. Also too, something you need to know is that the dead work in either Houses or Tribes.
Which you are a part of depends on you. No one can tell you except you which House or Tribe you give your allegiance to. That is the first piece of the puzzle. Second piece, what to do with yourself once you are in a House or Tribe. Again, that is mostly up to you, though I will say that Houses and Tribes usually do spend entirely too much time and effort making sure they are on the top of the heap.
To complicate matters further, the Houses and the Tribes have entered into a time of restlessness. Loyalties are being tested, motives are being questioned, and deals and truces are on the verge of breaking. Peace must be restored at all costs, or the Other Side will degrade into chaos.
This is an RPG based on the Atmosfear boardgame series. It uses the World of Darkness game system, but is not a part of the World of Darkness. Character creation is part of the role playing process, with players being able to take a pre-generated character or creating one of their own once they know what they want to play.
Players can choose from Vampires, Werewolves, Zombies, Mummies, Witches, Poltergeists, Restless Ones, or Soul Rangers. Players also do not need prior knowledge of the world of Atmosfear, as introductions to the world will be made at the beginning of the game.
This event HIGHLY stresses player SOCIAL interaction with one another. While combat is possible, it is NOT how you will be able to get your goals accomplished.
Though this event officially begins Friday night at 7 PM and runs until 9:30 PM Saturday, players may join in at any time.
OFFICIAL congregation times before your host, the Gatekeeper, are Friday at 7 PM, Saturday at 3 PM, and 9:30 PM in the Conference Room.
When on your own, the Other Side is yours to roam, but be mindful of other goings on and disturb them not, lest the Gatekeeper become…irritated. And irritating the Gatekeeper is the worst thing you can do on the Other Side. If you need the Gatekeeper for anything such as questions, rulings, rollings, or simply showing up after the congregation times, you have to find him. But don't worry, he won't be difficult to find.
