So in the previous incarnations of this page, we were often asked what the "Wicked Gamer Girls" were. Was it that infamous "SEX SELLS" advertising? Was it commentary on the gaming world? Was there something darker and more insidious.
Probably. But that's not the main idea.
Basically, from the beginning, Wicked Events were about trying to help people get more flavors out of the unusual things they do. So just as our gaming in general is specifically created to be an event for people ranging from "never even considered gaming before" to "really experienced veterans--
we wanted to play around with one of the supposed "facts" of the gaming world, still believed: girls don't game. This is vastly untrue. But most gaming conventions still don't have a large enough female contingent to shout about it.
